About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected hospital system, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team
• Call structure: 15 days of call coverage per month
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Access to support staff
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Provide comprehensive pediatric care for newborns, infants, children and adolescents in the level 2 nursery inpatient setting
• Attend deliveries and provide newborn assessments, stabilization, and routine nursery care as needed
• Manage care for normal newborn nursery patients, including admissions, daily rounds, discharge planning, and parent education
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record system

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

Requirements

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required

Pay

• $50,000 sign-on bonus
• $10,000 relocation assistance
• CME allowance of $4,000
