About the Role

Children’s Nebraska, in collaboration with the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Pediatric Urologist to join a collaborative academic practice. In the state's only dedicated pediatric urology program, you'll enjoy a unique blend of complex surgical care, innovative technology, multidisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful opportunities to teach, mentor, and advance the field of pediatric urology.

Join an established team of four fellowship-trained pediatric urologists providing comprehensive care across a large regional referral network. You'll practice alongside experienced Advanced Practice Providers, dedicated nursing and surgical support staff, and academic colleagues committed to delivering exceptional, family-centered care while advancing the future of pediatric urology.

Requirements

• Board-Eligible/Board-Certified, Fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist
• Passion for providing exceptional, family-centered patient care
• Collaborative physician who enjoys working within multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Work Environment

• Established Exclusively Pediatric Team: Join four fellowship-trained pediatric urologists supported by three APPs and six pediatric urology nurses, as well as dedicated surgical schedulers and administrative support.
• Exceptional Clinic Environment: Dedicated clinic space with in-clinic videourodynamic and ultrasound suites; adjacent to Pediatric Nephrology.
• State-of-the-Art Operating Rooms: Full digitally-integrated ORs, da Vinci surgical robot, brand-new endoscopic equipment; dedicated block time.

  • Faculty appointment at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) commensurate with experience.
  • Sole pediatric teaching faculty for the UNMC urology residency program and the UNMC/Children’s Nebraska pediatric urology fellowship program.
