Pediatric Urologist
About the role
Serving as a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urology physician at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. Services include surgical/medical ambulatory and hospital care with an emphasis on patient wellbeing. Opportunities for outpatient and surgical care to patients with more complex diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside an experienced Pediatric Urologist in a child-friendly and family-centered environment
- Enjoy the benefits of a dedicated pediatric surgery unit with pre-op and recovery on site
- Provide care within the context of Providence Children’s Health, which includes pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty practices and a developmental health clinic
- Participate in a vibrant community with access to a neonatal intensive care unit and children’s emergency department
Requirements
- Laparoscopic, minimally invasive surgical skills are desired
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Urology
- Experience in pediatric urology is preferred but not required
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Oregon
- Completion of a pediatric urology fellowship program
