Pediatric Urgent Care Regional Medical Officer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate orientation and ongoing education for new providers
• Manage and optimize provider scheduling and shift assignments
• Address and resolve medically related patient complaints
• Ensure proper clinical documentation and resource utilization
• Support provider recruitment and make hiring recommendations
• Mentor providers and address performance improvement needs
• Provide regional support and cover for absent leadership

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Pediatric or IM-Peds residency training program
• BC/BE with the ABP or ABEM/AOBEM
• Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification
• Licensed in the state of practice
• Mets threshold criteria for Credentialing and Privileges
