Responsibilities
- Facilitate orientation and ongoing education for new providers
- Manage and optimize provider scheduling and shift assignments
- Address and resolve medically related patient complaints
- Ensure proper clinical documentation and resource utilization
- Support provider recruitment and make hiring recommendations
- Mentor providers and address performance improvement needs
- Provide regional support and cover for absent leadership
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Pediatric or IM-Peds residency training program
- BC/BE with the ABP or ABEM/AOBEM
- Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification
- Licensed in the state of practice
- Mets threshold criteria for Credentialing and Privileges
