Pediatric Therapy Aide- Part Time or PRN

About the role

As a rehab therapy aide, you will assist the therapists in the clinic with appropriate activities, prepare equipment, and maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the physical clinic space for daily patient activities. This is an ideal position for students getting their education in a medical‑related field.

The team includes more than 700 physical, occupational, and speech therapists, along with patient service specialists, focused on exceptional care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient‑related tasks assigned by the therapist, in accordance with the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Practice Acts for non‑licensed personnel.
• Assist therapists or front‑office staff with clerical duties, including handling phone calls and inquiries, greeting and directing patients, confirming appointments, mailing tasks, filing, and other requested duties.
• Maintain the department and equipment in a clean and orderly condition: clean tables and equipment, assist with laundry, and maintain supplies.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Some college experience in a related healthcare field preferred.
• Prior experience working within a physical therapy setting preferred.
• Prefer candidate to be enrolled in a PT/OT/ST program.

Pay

$18.00 per hour (based on experience).

Schedule

Part‑time or PRN.
