Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Congduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing evaluations
- Diagnose speech and language disorders and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services using developmentally appropriate and evidence-based practices
- Monitor, document, and analyze client progress; adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to support carryover of skills
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with professional, regulatory, and payer requirements
- Provide parent and caregiver education and training to support communication development
- Ensure services are delivered in compliance with ASHA standards, ethical guidelines, and applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Experience or training in pediatric assessment and intervention
- Knowledge of evidence-based pediatric speech and language treatment approaches
- Experience working in pediatric clinic, school-based, or early intervention settings
- Experience with feeding and swallowing disorders (as applicable to the role)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with families and interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with documentation and billing requirements for insurance or school-based services
