Pediatric RN

Per Diem opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one pediatric home care in Netcong, NJ.

About the role

Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to a 4-year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, Tracheostomy/Ventilator (T/V), GJ Tube, Nebulizer, Chest Vest, Cough Assist, and Suction needs. Work alongside a supportive pediatric clinical team in the comfort of the client’s home.

Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday & Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Pay

$45.00 per hour with weekly direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client’s home.
• Monitor the client’s health, safety, and overall well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments according to the physician’s plan of care.
• Manage and monitor the patient’s tracheostomy/ventilator, GJ tube, nebulizer treatments, chest vest therapy, cough assist, and suctioning as needed.
• Accurately document all nursing services provided.
• Collaborate with the family and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of pediatric experience in home care or acute care.
• Current BLS certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Physical completed within the past 12 months.
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray completed within the past 5 years).
• Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years.
• Proof of influenza vaccination or an approved medical exemption.
