About the role
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric client in a supportive home setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys pediatric nursing and wants to make a meaningful difference while providing individualized care.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a pediatric client
- Monitor the child's health, comfort, and safety throughout the shift
- Collaborate with the family and clinical team to provide exceptional care
- Accurately document all care provided
Schedule
Saturday and Sunday
- Option 1: One 16-hour shift (7:00 AM–11:00 PM)
- Option 2: Two 8-hour shifts
Consistent weekend schedule.
Pay
RN: $45/hour
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN License
- Preferred: 1 year of pediatric experience in home care or acute care
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical exam completed within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past year (or chest X-ray within the past 5 years)
- Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
- Proof of influenza vaccination or approved medical exemption
