Pediatric RN

Join Affirmed Home Care as a Per Diem Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) and provide dedicated, one-on-one overnight care for a 14-year-old girl in Wanaque, NJ. This role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a young patient and her family.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled pediatric RN to deliver overnight support and supervision for a pediatric patient requiring respiratory assistance and personal care. This is a per diem position with immediate availability.

• Patient: 14-year-old girl
• Needs: Overnight support and supervision
• Equipment: Trilogy BiPAP
• Care Requirements: Respiratory support, personal care, positioning, medication administration

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the home
• Monitor respiratory status, comfort, and safety throughout the night
• Manage and troubleshoot Trilogy BiPAP and related respiratory equipment
• Provide personal care, hygiene support, and repositioning as needed
• Administer medications according to the physician’s plan of care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the family and interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Preferred: At least 1 year of pediatric or respiratory experience
• Current BLS certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Physical completed within the past 12 months
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
• Proof of influenza vaccination or approved medical exemption

Schedule

• Overnight shifts available
• Saturdays currently available

Pay

$45.00 per hour with weekly direct deposit.
