Pediatric Registered Nurse - PRN

About the role

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse (CMRN) is a per diem/PRN position for EmVenio. This role involves setting appointments, conducting mobile visits for study participants, working cooperatively with clinical team members, and submitting accurate source documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set appointments within the required visitation window
• Complete mobile visits for study participants
• Work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel
• Perform physical assessments
• Collect and process specimens
• Manage investigational products
• Perform 12-lead safety ECGs
• Travel statewide if needed

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
• Maintain a current CPR certification
• Maintain a current TB Test
• Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be a skilled driver with a good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair
• Ability to speak other languages (preferred)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Licensed to practice as a RN in the state(s) of practice
• Be a member of our general staffing pool
• No prior research experience required, on-the-job training provided

Pay

Standard Rate: $60.00 Hourly plus commute, mileage, training, and administrative pay.
