Pediatric Private Duty RN LVN

About the role

Ashamed Care Home Health offers Private Duty Nursing, focusing on personalized care rather than traditional home health nursing practices. Our nurses work with one patient per shift, allowing for flexibility in shift lengths.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
• Administer medication, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records using web-based electronic medical records system
• Monitor patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail

• Donna, TX - 1 year old male / Low Acuity with G-tube / Every Saturday 9am-5pm
• Pharr, TX - 16 year old male / High Acuity with Gtube & Trach / Every other Friday & Saturday Night 10pm-8am
