Pediatric Physician
About the role
The Pediatrician is primarily responsible for providing comprehensive patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, and education of parents and guardians regarding their children’s care. This role works closely with other clinicians in a collaborative, team-based care model.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care services
- Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, and education of parents and guardians regarding their children’s care
- Work closely with other clinicians in a collaborative, team-based care model
- Serve as a highly visible representative of St. Elizabeth Healthcare
- Create a positive impression with patients, families, colleagues, and administrative staff, both in person and over the phone
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited professional medical school
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate residency training program (Family Medicine or Pediatrics)
- Two or more years of experience, which may include residency training
- Able to obtain and maintain an unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Board certified or board eligible in the primary specialty, with board certification maintained in accordance with requirements of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association
