About the Role

This Pediatric Physical Therapist evaluates, tests, diagnoses, and treats injuries, diseases, and disabilities using standard physical therapy procedures. They develop treatment plans, including exercises and modalities, to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent disability. The therapist educates patients and caregivers, promotes independence, and helps reintegration into community or work activities. They work with outpatient and acute care patients, adhering to organizational values and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
  • Creates and implements personalized treatment strategies.
  • Utilizes modalities and supports adaptive equipment use.
  • Determines patient independence and community reintegration potential.
  • Maintains documentation and promotes organizational mission and values.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of related experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Skills

  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
