About the role
Therapitas is a nonprofit organization that has been serving Spanish-speaking families in Oklahoma since 2009, dedicated to ensuring Spanish-speaking children have equal access to quality therapy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients
- Provide skilled intervention to improve strength, mobility, motor development, and functional independence
- Document services in our easy-to-use EMR
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OTs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Physical Therapy students
Requirements
- DPT or PT degree from an accredited program
- Oklahoma PT license or eligibility to obtain
- New grads and upcoming board exam candidates welcome
- Passion for working with children and families
- Mission-driven approach to care
Qualifications
- Passionate about expanding access to care and making a meaningful difference for children and families
- Ability to speak Spanish is not required, but trained interpreter support is provided
- Structured mentorship and support through regular one-on-ones, documentation guidance, and professional development

- Excellent communication skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- $70,000 – $86,000 / year based on schedule and experience with up to $8,000 signing bonus available for candidates not participating in SIP
