About the role

Therapitas is a nonprofit organization that has been serving Spanish-speaking families in Oklahoma since 2009, dedicated to ensuring Spanish-speaking children have equal access to quality therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients
• Provide skilled intervention to improve strength, mobility, motor development, and functional independence
• Document services in our easy-to-use EMR
• Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Physical Therapy students

Requirements

• DPT or PT degree from an accredited program
• Oklahoma PT license or eligibility to obtain
• New grads and upcoming board exam candidates welcome
• Passion for working with children and families
• Mission-driven approach to care

Qualifications

• Passionate about expanding access to care
• Willingness to learn Spanish or participate in the Spanish Immersion Program (SIP)

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• $70,000 – $86,000 / year based on schedule and experience with up to $8,000 signing bonus available for candidates not participating in SIP
