Pediatric Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Support children birth through age 18 in Early Intervention, clinic-based therapy, or a blend of both.
• Collaborate with a caring interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and interns.

Requirements

• Doctorate or master’s degree in physical therapy and state licensure (PT).
• Illinois PT license (or license-eligible).
• Early Intervention credential preferred.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license & insurance.

Qualifications

• Must have references from management/supervisor level people at a current or former employer/organization or from a current or former educator, coach, or volunteer leader/coordinator.
• Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license & insurance.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and interventions.
