About the Role
Join Highbar Physical Therapy, New England’s leading outpatient physical therapy teaching practice, as a Pediatric Physical Therapist. - Patient volume: Under 12 patients per day
- 1:1 patient care, always
- AI-supported documentation + Prompt EMR to reduce after-hours charting
- Predictable and thoughtfully built schedules
- Full autonomy in clinical decision-making (PT-led care)
- Exercise Specialists on the floor to support clinicians

Professional Development

Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program
- Current Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
- Creative, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Experience with or eagerness to work with children (pediatric clinical rotation or relevant experience preferred)
- Physical ability to engage with pediatric patients, including:
- Getting on/off the floor, hopping, skipping, running, and demonstrating exercises
- Heavy lifting as required
- Strong communication skills, including:
- Clear, compassionate communication with children, parents, and caregivers
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Interpretation of nonverbal cues, body language, and behavioral signals
