About the role

The Infectious Disease Pharmacist leads our system Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP). The pharmacist will collaborate with and support the physician ASP lead to promote judicious use of antimicrobials and compliance with regulatory standards in this area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and support the physician ASP lead to promote judicious use of antimicrobials
• Support compliance with regulatory standards in antimicrobial stewardship

Requirements

• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Florida
• Experience in antimicrobial stewardship programs
• Knowledge of pharmacology and infectious diseases
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE accredited college or university
• Passing score on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX)
• Passing score on the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam (MPJE)
