Pediatric Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric pathology expertise within a children’s hospital setting, covering surgical and clinical pathology cases.
• Participate in a team-based environment with shared case coverage, supporting colleagues in surgical, oncologic, GI, and bone marrow cases.
• Manage approximately 3,000 surgical specimens annually, ensuring quality patient care.
• Engage in rotation between surgical pathology and clinical responsibilities, with flexible scheduling to accommodate individual preferences.
• Contribute to a balanced call structure (~1:4) and collaborative workload sharing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board-certified in AP/CP with fellowship training or interest in pediatric pathology.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills.
• Interest in working in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a focus on quality care and manageable workload.
