About the role
Wolfson Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Outpatient Pediatric Rehab Team in Lake City, FL (Columbia County). This position will support the Wolfson Children's Hospital rehabilitation team, working with patients under 18 years of age across a variety of cases. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with children and experience with neurological, orthopedic, and outpatient pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses.
- Provides extensive education to patients and families.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy (required).
- Licensed Occupational Therapist by the Florida Department of Health (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required).
- Experience in pediatric rehabilitation (preferred).
- Experience in orthopedics, neurology, and outpatient care (preferred).
- Experience in intensive care settings, splinting, wound care, and developmental therapy (valued).
- NBCOT certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license (required).
