Pediatric Nurse Practitioner -Tempe Clinic 11-8

About the role

We are looking for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners to join our well-established and accredited team of providers who deliver high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents in a welcoming, supportive, and family-friendly environment. Our services include both sick and well-child visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by obtaining medical history, performing appropriate physical examinations, and creating an assessment and plan that may include ordering and interpreting labs, ordering imaging studies, and developing treatment plans, including referrals to specialty care when needed.
• Administer or prescribe treatments and medications.
• Follow up and monitor patient progress throughout the treatment plan.
• Document the evaluation and plan of care.
• Provide patient education on a variety of health topics.
• Collaborate and consult with other in-house allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner education program.
• Experience in the clinical area of specialty.
• Valid Arizona R.N. License.
• Valid Arizona Nurse Practitioner certificate.
• Valid CPR certificate.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience.
