About the role
Intermountain Pediatric Imaging (IPI) is the premier pediatric imaging group in the Intermountain West, comprising 25 pediatric radiologists employed by Intermountain Health with close affiliation to the University of Utah Hospital. Approximately half have additional subspecialty training in neuroradiology and interventional radiology. IPI provides exclusive imaging and interventional services for Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, the newly opened Primary Children’s Miller Campus (2024), and two dedicated pediatric outpatient imaging facilities. The group emphasizes excellence in clinical care, multidisciplinary service, and education, working closely with clinical colleagues across subspecialties to fulfill the mission “the child first and always.” It also educates radiology residents and IR fellows rotating from the University of Utah and values work‑life balance, offering generous vacation time and a family‑friendly community with abundant outdoor recreation.
