Pediatric Neurosurgeon

About the role

The Department of Neurosurgery within Cleveland Clinic's Neurological Institute together with the Children’s Institute is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship trained Pediatric Neurosurgeon to help build and grow the pediatric neurosurgery program at the main campus in Cleveland, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Skilled in all aspects of general pediatric neurosurgery
• Strong commitment to excellence in patient care and collaboration
• Experience in complex spine pathology, including complex cervical spine cases and congenital anomalies
• Significant experience in managing trauma patients
• Active involvement in the neurosurgery residency program, resident and fellow teaching, and clinical care
• Programmatic building and community outreach, research, and scholarly activities

Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neurosurgery
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Neurosurgery
• Experience in general pediatric neurosurgery
• Special interest and experience in complex spine pathology
• Significant experience in managing trauma patients

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
• Residency training in Neurosurgery
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Neurosurgery

Pay

Minimum salary: $570,000
Maximum salary: $765,000
