About the role

This facility is seeking a Pediatric Neurology Physician for locum tenens support to fill a current need. The position offers hybrid inpatient and remote tele‑neurology coverage, including responsibility for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and remote EEG interpretation, with a focus on pediatric epilepsy and EEG interpretation. The facility is located in Charleston, SC, a beautifully preserved antebellum city known for its pastel‑colored houses, cobblestone streets, leafy patios, historic estates, and rich cultural activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24‑hour shifts from Monday 8:00 AM to the following Monday 8:00 AM.
• Offer night EEG coverage fully remote from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• Choose coverage options: individual night shifts, a full 7‑night block, or weekend coverage beginning Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM.
• Cover the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and perform remote EEG interpretation.
• Focus on pediatric neurology cases, particularly epilepsy and EEG interpretation.

Pay

$1843.00 – $1995.00

Schedule

One week (7 consecutive days) per month. Primary coverage consists of 24‑hour shifts from Monday 8:00 AM to Monday 8:00 AM. Night EEG coverage is fully remote from 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Coverage options include individual night coverage, a full 7‑night block, or weekend coverage beginning Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM.
