About the role
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join the Division of Pediatric Neurology within the Department of Pediatrics. This full‑time outpatient opportunity allows care for children and adolescents in a collaborative academic environment while expanding access to specialized pediatric neurology services. The ideal candidate brings pediatric clinical experience, a team‑oriented mindset, and a passion for improving the lives of pediatric patients and families, and will practice alongside experienced pediatric specialists contributing to quality improvement, education, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide full‑time outpatient pediatric neurology care.
- Care for patients from birth through age 21.
- Work within an academic environment at South Carolina’s leading academic health system.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric neurology team.
- Help grow and expand pediatric neurology services.
- Participate in quality‑improvement and clinical‑research initiatives.
- Potentially precept Advanced Practice Provider students.
- Practice in an evidence‑based environment with strong physician collaboration.

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program with licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant, or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- Pediatric clinical experience (required).
- Pediatric neurology experience (strongly preferred).
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification prior to start date.
- Eligibility for South Carolina licensure.
Pay
$125,000 – $135,000 per year
Schedule
Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
