Pediatric Neurologist

About the Role

A BC Pediatric Neurologist is sought to join an academic team in a multidisciplinary children's hospital setting, with opportunities for teaching and research in all subspecialties, including epilepsy and neuromuscular disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric neurology care, seeing approximately 12 patients daily within defined visit times.
• Share inpatient neurology service weeks every 5 to 6 weeks.
• Collaborate with a team of neurosurgeons, therapists, psychologists, and nursing staff.
• Teach residents within a 5-year ACGME-accredited Child Neurology Residency Program.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team activities and research initiatives.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Pediatric Neurology.
• Strong clinical and teaching capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Practice Details

Practice at a new children's hospital with 24/7 video EEG monitoring, supported by nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Pay

Compensation includes a base salary, signing bonus, and relocation assistance.
