Pediatric Nephrology Opportunity

About the role

Seeking a full-time BC/BE pediatric nephrologist to join a collaborative team providing comprehensive nephrology services, including renal replacement therapy and plasmapheresis. The role involves clinical care, teaching, and research support within a pediatric hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nephrology care supporting neonatal, pediatric critical care, oncology, and urology programs.
• Collaborate with local pediatric transplant programs and support ongoing care for transplant recipients.
• Participate in specialized clinics such as Hypertension/ABPM, Stone clinic, Fetal Clinic, and Neuro-Cutaneous Clinic.
• Engage in research activities, clinical trials, and mentorship roles within academic partnerships.
• Contribute to medical education as faculty, preceptors, and mentors, with opportunities for involvement in academic programs and simulation training.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Nephrology.
• Strong background in clinical nephrology, dialysis, and hypertension.
• UNOS certification or eligibility for Pediatric Transplant Director preferred.
• Demonstrated teaching experience and academic interest, with eligibility for faculty appointment.
