The Position
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in a collaborative pediatric care team. You’ll deliver hands-on nursing care to medically fragile, technology-dependent, and developmentally challenged children in a structured, supportive setting.
- Administer medications, respiratory treatments, and G-tube feedings.
- Auxiliary RNs in implementing and adjusting care protocols based on patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment for children.
- Safely transport children (when applicable) and assist with emergency response protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and team huddles to ensure best practices in care.
- Support interdisciplinary goals by working with therapists, social workers, and center leadership.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program and current state licensure.
- Pediatric experience (1+ years preferred), especially with medically fragile or technology-dependent children (NICU/PICU a plus).
