Pediatric LPN

Join Affirmed Home Care as a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing compassionate, one-on-one overnight care for a 14-year-old girl in Wanaque, NJ. This role supports a young patient with respiratory needs in her home.

About the Role

• One-on-one pediatric care in the patient’s home
• Overnight shifts with Saturdays currently available
• Fast onboarding and immediate placement

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care, monitoring the patient’s comfort, safety, and respiratory status throughout the night
• Manage and troubleshoot Trilogy BiPAP and related respiratory equipment
• Assist with personal care, hygiene support, and repositioning as needed
• Administer medications according to the physician’s plan of care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the family and interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care

Requirements

• Active New Jersey LPN license
• At least 1 year of pediatric or respiratory experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Physical completed within the past 12 months
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
• Proof of influenza vaccination or approved medical exemption

Pay

$40.00 per hour with weekly direct deposit.
