Per diem opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric care in Netcong, NJ.
About the Role
Join Affirmed Home Care and deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care to a 4-year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, and complex medical needs including tracheostomy/ventilator, GJ tube, nebulizer, chest vest, cough assist, and suctioning. This per diem position offers the chance to build a meaningful relationship with the patient and family while working in the comfort of their home.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home
- Monitor the patient's health, comfort, and safety throughout each shift
- Administer medications and treatments according to the physician's plan of care
- Manage tracheostomy/ventilator care, GJ tube feedings, nebulizer treatments, chest vest therapy, cough assist, and suctioning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Partner with the family and interdisciplinary team to provide outstanding patient care
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday & Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Pay
$40.00 per hour with weekly direct deposit.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey LPN license
- Preferred: At least 1 year of pediatric experience in home care or acute care
- Current BLS certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Physical completed within the past 12 months
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray completed within the past 5 years)
- Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
- Proof of influenza vaccination or an approved medical exemption
