Pediatric LPN

Make a difference in a child's life as a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing one-on-one pediatric care to a 1-year-old girl with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube in her Fairfield County, Connecticut home.

About the Role

Affirmed Home Care is expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking compassionate, experienced LPNs to deliver skilled, personalized nursing care in a home setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for an LPN confident in pediatric complex-care support.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to a pediatric patient with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube
• Ensure the child remains safe, comfortable, and supported in her home environment

Requirements

• Active Connecticut LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube care strongly preferred
• Home care, hospital, or acute-care pediatric experience preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• Current TB screening (PPD or QuantiFERON) completed within the past year, or chest X-ray documentation when applicable
