Mission Children’s is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join their engaged and passionate group of providers. Qualified candidates must be board certified or board eligible in pediatrics. Please note this position does not offer visa support.
Position Highlights
- This is primarily a Pediatric Hospitalist role with potential coverage with the Newborn Hospitalist service line as needed.

- Flexible scheduling of 12-hour shifts rotating days (7 am – 7 pm) and nights (7 pm – 7 am).

About Mission Children’s
Mission Children’s is the region’s only children’s hospital covering western North Carolina. They have 60 pediatric subspecialists in 23 different disciplines, including a 51-bed, Level-III NICU and delivery room resuscitation staffed by their Neonatology team, a 19-bed Pediatric Unit, and a 9-bed PICU staffed by their Pediatric Intensivist team. They provide an average of 3,000 patient admissions to their pediatric inpatient units, approximately 4,000 deliveries per year, and approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries and 14,000 pediatric visits to their emergency department annually. They also have a dedicated infant transport team serving a 55-county area.
