About the role
Wayne Memorial Hospital seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to provide inpatient pediatric care, including nursery care and pediatric admissions.
Responsibilities
- Manage hospitalized infants, children, and adolescents
- Collaborate with families, primary care providers, nursing staff, and specialists to ensure high-quality pediatric care
- Provide on-call coverage and hospital rounds on a one-week-on and one-week-off basis
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics, Neonatology or Family Medicine
- Active Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration
- Strong communication skills with a family-centered approach to care
