Pediatric Home Health Nurse RN in Idaho with Hiring Incentive

About the role

KidsCare Home Health is seeking nurses to join our team. We provide private duty nursing services to enhance quality patient care for children from birth to 18 years old across various service areas including Sweet, Boise, Garden City, Nampa, Eagle, Marsing, and Kuna, ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents according to the active plan of care.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician.
• Document clinical notes in accordance with the plan of care.
• Notify the RN Case Manager of any changes in the patient’s condition.
• Provide and document education to patients and their families on specific details of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure quality care.
• Use appropriate infection control procedures and safety measures.
• Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

• Current State Nursing License or compact license where applicable.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Reliable Transportation.
• One (1) Year Home Health Experience, preferred.
• One (1) Year Pediatric Experience, preferred.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have reliable transportation to office and patients' homes.
