Pediatric Health Psychologist - Faculty - Assistant Professor

About the role

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Psychology & Developmental Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible psychologist to join our expanding Division.

Responsibilities

• Work with an interdisciplinary team of colleagues, including physicians, nurses, social workers, care navigators and others to develop, implement and sustain integrated mental and behavioral health programming for patients.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of pediatric patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, collaborate with medical professionals, offer guidance to parents/caregivers, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, conduct research and provide training and supervision to psychology trainees and interns.
• Participate in professional development, scholarly activities, and administrative duties.

Requirements

• PhD or PsyD in an APA approved clinical psychology, school psychology, neuropsychology program, or appropriate subspecialty program.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin.
• Clinical experience assessing and treating children and specialized training, including fellowship in child psychology is preferred.
• Specialized training or experience in health and behavior assessment and intervention is preferred.

Qualifications

• Eligible candidates should have a PhD or PsyD in an APA approved clinical psychology, school psychology, neuropsychology program, or appropriate subspecialty program.
• Candidates must also be licensed, or eligible to be licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin.
• Clinical experience assessing and treating children and specialized training, including fellowship in child psychology is preferred.
• Specialized training or experience in health and behavior assessment and intervention is preferred.

• Schedule: Mon-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm with schedule flexibility as needed.
