About the Role
Join a leading Pediatric Genetics & Genomics program as a Pediatric Clinical Geneticist. You will provide expert clinical care to pediatric patients with genetic conditions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of geneticists, counselors, and support staff. The role includes participation in emerging initiatives such as precision medicine, pharmacogenomics, newborn sequencing, metabolomics, and gene therapy.
Optional opportunities for research, clinical trials, teaching, mentorship, and program development are available. The position offers a flexible clinical schedule with protected time for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care to pediatric patients with genetic conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of geneticists, counselors, and support staff.
- Participate in emerging initiatives such as precision medicine, pharmacogenomics, newborn sequencing, metabolomics, and gene therapy.
- Engage in optional research, clinical trials, teaching, mentorship, and program development.
- Serve a large pediatric patient population across a multi-state region.
- Contribute to a nationally recognized genetics program with opportunities for growth and leadership.
- Address high patient demand and expand access to genetic services.
- Support the integration of new technologies and therapies in pediatric genetics.
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Genetics and Genomics or a related specialty.
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric genetics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Interest in innovative genetic research and emerging therapies.
