Pediatric Gastroenterologist
About the role
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Pediatric Gastroenterologist. Clinical activities are based at St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings, Montana and include outpatient and inpatient care for pediatric gastroenterology patients including performance of endoscopic procedures and biopsies. Outreach to regional locations in Central Montana, Eastern Montana, and Northern Wyoming is expected, with chartered air travel for distances over 150 miles. Will share on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for pediatric gastroenterology patients including outpatient and inpatient care
- Perform endoscopic procedures and biopsies
- Collaborate with other pediatric specialties such as cardiology, pediatric surgery, neurology, endocrinology, neonatology, rheumatology, nephrology, and intensive care medicine
- Participate in outreach to regional locations in Central Montana, Eastern Montana, and Northern Wyoming
- Share on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Gastroenterology
