About the role
Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric endocrinology care, including diabetes management, new patient consults, and follow-ups.
Responsibilities
- Manage 8–10 patients daily with minimal weekend rounding during call coverage
- Conduct clinic hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with 24-hour beeper call, covering one week per month
- Manage pediatric endocrine cases and perform procedures as needed
- Ensure quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Responsible for ongoing coverage and credentialing
Qualifications & Skills
- Board Certified in Pediatrics or Pediatric Endocrinology
- Active medical license (Washington or IMLC)
- Active DEA license
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Ability to handle pediatric endocrinology cases
