Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians

Job Duties

• Diagnose and treat pediatric patients in the emergency room.
• Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral.
• Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patients' family concerning treatment and care of patients.
• Refer cases that require specialist services.

Requirements

• License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
• Completion of a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship.

Qualifications

Education Required: M.D. or D.O.
