Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician - San Antonio, TX

Full-time faculty position with academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Division of Emergency Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine at CHRISTUS Children's (San Antonio, TX).

About the role

CHRISTUS Children's is a world-class 240-bed freestanding children's hospital serving as a focal point for pediatric services throughout the community. In partnership with Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) — a premier academic health science center recognized for excellence in education, research, healthcare, and community service — the Division of Emergency Medicine has an opening for a full-time faculty position with a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to critically ill and injured children in an Emergency Department setting
• Teach fellows, residents, medical students, and staff

Requirements

• M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
• Successful completion of an accredited fellowship in Emergency Medicine
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
• Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics with subspecialty certification in pediatric emergency medicine (or eligibility for same)
