About the role

At DOCS Dental, our part-time Pediatric Dentists provide exceptional, specialty care in modern, fully digitalized clinics located on Army and Air Force bases nationwide. We serve those who serve, offering a steady, exclusive patient population of military families, veterans, and federal employees.

Responsibilities

- Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers. - Strong diagnostic skills and be well versed in all phases of general dentistry with emphasis on oral surgery, simple restorative, and palliative care. - Utilize best practices, evidenced based dentistry and ADA standards of care in guiding your clinical practice. - Educate patients on the importance of maintaining proper oral health and outlining goals for both medical and dental health considerations. - Practice and follow infection control and OSHA regulations. - Follow all rules and regulations set by the state, federal and governmental entities. - Build strong relationships with patients to create connections and influence patient retention. - Execute company standards, processes, and procedures to ensure quality of service and a consistent patient experience. - Strive to balance the achievement of operational targets while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

- DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program - Completed Pediatric residency and board certification or eligibility, preferred or 2 years experience working in pediatrics. - Active, unrestricted state dental license - CPR/BLS Certification - DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication)
