About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to provide dental care for infants, children, and adolescents.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
- Review each patient’s medical and dental history at every visit and complete comprehensive evaluations.
- Identify and address patient concerns and treatment contraindications.
- Examine and assess patients, chart pathologic conditions, and discuss findings and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications as necessary and document all treatment provided according to Noble Clinics policies and procedures.
- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications, while educating patients and families on oral hygiene and nutrition.
- Create dentures or other appliances to replace missing or diseased teeth when needed.
- Collaborate with other Noble Clinics providers and community professionals regarding consultations and referrals for patients requiring care beyond the clinic’s scope.
- Participate in on-call rotations as determined by Noble Clinics.
- Support the Chief Dental Officer and Dental Practice Manager in monitoring and guiding the clinical performance of dental hygienists and assistants.
- Maintain adherence to OSHA and HIPAA standards and uphold patient confidentiality.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture and serve as a mentor and resource for clinical staff.
- Adhere to Noble Community Clinics’ policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree required.
- Completion of a residency in Pediatric Dentistry and/or a master’s degree in Public Health Dentistry preferred.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin.
- Possess prescribing privileges and DEA registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience working with children and adolescents required.
