About the role
A Pediatric Dentist provides in-office surgical care for pediatric patients in collaboration with a Dental Anesthesiologist. This flexible, part-time position focuses on delivering comprehensive surgical and restorative treatments under sedation, ensuring safe and efficient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical and restorative procedures under sedation
- Collaborate with Dental Anesthesiologist to manage case flow and patient safety
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care efficiently and confidently
- Partner with office staff to maintain compliance and excellent service
Practice Environment & Tools
- Use of DentaPro software, digital x-ray, Panorex units
- Fiber-optic handpieces and sedation support from Dental Anesthesiologists
- Support staff for specialists, with ongoing OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training
- Accepts various insurance plans, including PPO and out-of-network
Qualifications & Skills
- DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program
- Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency
- Active or eligible dental license, current BLS/PALS, DEA credentials
- Nitrous Oxide certification as required by state
