Pediatric Dentist

About the role

A Pediatric Dentist provides in-office surgical care for pediatric patients in collaboration with a Dental Anesthesiologist. This flexible, part-time position focuses on delivering comprehensive surgical and restorative treatments under sedation, ensuring safe and efficient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and restorative procedures under sedation
• Collaborate with Dental Anesthesiologist to manage case flow and patient safety
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care efficiently and confidently
• Partner with office staff to maintain compliance and excellent service

Practice Environment & Tools

• Use of DentaPro software, digital x-ray, Panorex units
• Fiber-optic handpieces and sedation support from Dental Anesthesiologists
• Support staff for specialists, with ongoing OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training
• Accepts various insurance plans, including PPO and out-of-network

Qualifications & Skills

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program
• Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency
• Active or eligible dental license, current BLS/PALS, DEA credentials
• Nitrous Oxide certification as required by state
