About the Role: Casa Smiles is looking for a passionate and energetic Part-Time Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our fun, kid-friendly team in Hialeah, FL! Responsibilities: Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractionsPrepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patientsTake and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directedBuild rapport with young patients to create a calm, positive, and comfortable dental experienceDocument patient records and update charts accurately in dental practice management softwareEducate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment careMaintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant clinical environment Requirements: Prior dental assisting experience required; pediatric dental experience strongly preferredDental Assistant certification or relevant training preferredRadiography (X-ray) certification preferred or ability to obtainCPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtainBilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred for our Hialeah communityWarm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with children of all agesReliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting About Us: Casa Smiles is a trusted pediatric dental practice proudly serving the Hialeah, FL community, dedicated to providing gentle, compassionate, and high-quality dental care for children.
