About the role
We seek an experienced professional with 2+ years of pediatric congenital heart disease scanning and passing the pediatric echo registry exam.
Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric echocardiograms with precision
- Ensure accurate and quality imaging
- Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare providers
- Maintain certification and stay current with registry requirements
Requirements
- Level I: ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography; BLS certification.
- Level II: All Level I requirements; plus two national registry credentials (e.g., Vascular, Adult Echo); 10+ years of cardiology experience or 5+ years with an associate’s degree; competency in various echocardiographic areas.
- Level III: All Level I requirements; plus three registry credentials or 15+ years of experience, or 10+ years plus a bachelor’s/master’s degree.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; pediatric registry; 2 years in pediatric cardiology.
