Pediatric Cardiologist - Director of Cardiac Imaging

About the role

The Pediatric Cardiologist - Director of Cardiac Imaging position is available at Akron Children's Hospital. This role is part of a strong service line with a focus on cardiac imaging, inpatient general pediatric cardiology service, and outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Expand the services of the Heart Center team in cardiac imaging (CT, MRI, transesophageal and fetal echocardiography).
• Collaborate with a supportive, integrated team to deliver exceptional care.
• Teach medical students and engage in academic pursuits.
• Participate in inpatient general pediatric cardiology service and outpatient clinic.
• Contribute to research and program development.

Requirements

• Board certification in pediatric cardiology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Expertise in cardiac CT and MRI.
• Fetal echocardiography experience is beneficial but not required.
• Experience in heart program leadership and research is desirable.

Skills

• Excellent clinical skills in cardiac imaging.
• Strong teaching abilities.
• Research and program development experience.
