Pediatric Cardiologist, Cardiac Intensive Care

Responsibilities

Serving as an attending physician in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), providing direct patient care for critically ill children with complex cardiac conditions. Leading multidisciplinary rounds, managing complex hemodynamics and mechanical circulatory support, supervising fellows and residents, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Eligible for an Illinois medical license
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology
• Completion of advanced training in cardiac intensive care
• Demonstrated expertise in critical care cardiology
• Categorical fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $250,000 - $453,900.
