Responsibilities
- Obtain patient histories and perform assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Manage health conditions through direct treatment or referrals
- Provide patient and family education
- Document care in compliance with standards
- Participate in staff and student training
Requirements
- Texas-licensed Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner credential with prescriptive authority, or Physician Assistant licensure
- Relevant experience in acute care settings
- Master's degree
- Experience caring for patients with complex heart diseases
