Position Summary

As an outpatient clinician within our Applied Behavioral Analysis program (ABA), you will help children and their families learn new skills and techniques using the therapy that is most effective for autism. Our goal is to work on what's most important to the child and their support system by creating an individualized pediatric treatment program tailored to their needs. Whether it's working on communication, social skills, aggression, non-compliance, self-help skills, play, academics, or fine and gross motor skills, we always address the specific concerns for each patient. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can carry skills and home exercises into their child's daily life.

Pediatric Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Job Highlights

  • Base Salary commensurate with experience
  • Lead a team of behavior technicians in a clinic-based setting with predictable schedules
  • Provide ABA services within an interdisciplinary care model comprised of behavior technicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists

Responsibilities

  • Carry a caseload of 8-12 patients, partnering with your Clinic Director and Ivy ABA leadership to drive great outcomes for our young learners.
  • Carry out assessments and design individualized treatment plans.
  • Coach and guide behavior technicians in implementing each patient’s individual treatment plan.
  • Coach and empower parents and caregivers to learn ABA-based principles and interventions to drive meaningful behavior change outside of session.
  • Career as part of an interdisciplinary care team for patients who receive speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and/or physical therapy from Ivy Rehab Kids providers.

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Previous experience creating individualized treatment plans including both skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatment goals
  • Previous experience supervising technicians to implement individualized treatment plans
