Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Role Overview

A pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist is sought to provide comprehensive anesthesia care for neonatal and pediatric cardiac patients in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 100% hands-on anesthesia for complex congenital heart cases, including cardiac catheterizations and surgeries.
• Supervise CRNAs and participate in a 1:3 call rotation, including weeknight beeper calls and 24-hour weekend coverage.
• Cover a varied case load with responsibilities primarily Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Provide anesthesia in a dedicated pediatric cardiac program using modern equipment.
• Supervise staff and participate in on-call duties as scheduled.
• Ensure comprehensive perioperative care for patients with complex congenital conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification required.
• Pediatric cardiac fellowship training essential.
• Experience in neonatal and pediatric cardiac anesthesia preferred.
